Guten Morgen Kos! Ein neuer Urlaubstag wartet!
Good morning Kos! A new vacation day is waiting!
Erst mal frühstücken... für mich aber keinen Sekt und keine gekochte Türkei :-) Lieber was aus der gesunden Ecke.
Lets start with having breakfast... but no sparkling wine and no" gekochte Türkei" for me :-)
I prefer something from the healthy corner.
Wie wäre es mit einem Spaziergang durch das malerische Bergdorf Lagoudi?
How about a walk at the picturesque mountain village Lagoudi?
Wir werden freundlich empfangen.
We have a warm welcome.
"Oh, hier gibt es Katzenbabies im Vogelnest!"
"Oh here are baby cats in the birds nest!"
"Was?"
"Eh?"
Und dann kommt Melina. Und lädt uns ein, ihr nach Hause zu folgen.
And around comes Melina. And invites us to follow her to her home.
Melinas Zuhause ist dieses wunderschöne Kaffee.
Melinas home is this wonderful coffee bar.
Es ist das Kaffee von Christina.
It´s Christinas coffe bar.
Bei Christina gibt es nicht nur Kaffe und frischen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Es gibt auch ganz viel zu sehen.
Sie ist Malerin und stellt ihre Bilder und Ikonen in den Räumen und auch im Garten aus. Alle Bilder sind wetterfest!
Sie stellt ausserdem Silberschmuck her und sammelt Antiquitäten.
At Christinas coffee bar you find not only coffe and fresh selfmade cake. There is also a lot to see. Christina is an artist and shows her pictures and icons inside and outside. All pictures are weather-proof!
And she is also crafting silver jewellery and collecting antiques.

Zum Abschied bekam ich von Christina eine Rose geschenkt. Eine alte Sorte mit einem ganz betörenden Duft. Im Rucksack ist sie mit nach Deutschland gereist und wächst jetzt in meinem Garten. Wenn ihr alle die Daumen drückt.....
For goodbye I got a rose from Christina. An old sort with a marvelous smell. She made a trip to Germany in my rucksack and will now grow in my garden. If you all keep your fingers crossed for that....
